And once again it is birthday time.
Less than a week after my Dad's milestone birthday - my little niece Abecka Bleweeze is turning 4!!
While it is still only Sunday here in Canada, in Oz it's Monday the 20th and so it's her big day.
I bet she is so excited to be having her birthday - it would seem like it has taken forever to get here and after a few blinks it will be gone again for another year.
Aunty Sue is wishing her Abecka Bleweeze an absolutely marvellous 4th birthday and will be sending her present in the next couple of days - and is very very very very very sorry that it will be late.
I love you Becka. Have some birthday cake for me (not that she probly needs any encouragement to have more cake)

Birthdays..
And I'm so slack, I even posted on here on the 14th and didn't even mention that it was my dad's birthday.
The "old man" turned 70. It is amazing as there have been a couple of times over the last 8 years or so when we weren't sure we would have him around to celebrate this birthday.
But he is a fighter and I am so glad that we were able to celebrate this milestone with him.
Happy 70th Birthday Daddy, I love you heaps.

Videos..
So, I have been playing around with my computer this week, making movies with Windows Movie Maker. It really is a lot easier than I thought it would be, when I saw what a friend had done last year. I tried to do this previously with my old pc but for some reason, Windows Movie Maker never worked on there. Thankfully it works like a charm on my laptop.
I have done 4 movies so far - a little description of each is below.
I have done one of my round world trip last year - called "Magic Carpet Ride". I'm sure you can guess what tune I put the pictures to.
I've also done one called "Animal Song" showcasing all the pictures I have taken of animals since I arrived in Banff - this one is set to 'The Animal Song' by Savage Garden (only cause I didn't have anything else that pertained to animals.
I've also done one of things that make me happy - to 'Satisfaction' the one they've re-mixed with Elvis.
The last one, which I'm still working on is called "Waterfalls" and is obviously pictures of waterfalls. I'm thinking I'm going to try and get the song Waterfalls off limewire to go with it - I think it was by TLC.
So I'm hoping to get my laptop into town sometime this week so I can try and work out how to upload them to Facebook, or email them so everyone can have a look at them.
Fingers crossed...

Thanksgiving
We went to Renee and Jeremy's in Canmore with Lorraine & Adam and some other friends and had a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
We had roast Turkey and a small bit of roast beef. There were cranberries, garlic mashed potatoes, peas & corn, candied yams, gravy, potatoes and carrots, brussel sprouts and jelly.
It was all so good. Much like a traditional Christmas dinner but with Turkey. The yams (which I think are just sweet potatoes) were really good - a mix between the sweet and the savoury which I love of course.
Everyone then played poker, I didn't really want to so I sat and listened and watched tv. There was pumpkin pie and pecan pie for dessert, I had a piece of pecan pie with cool whip and that was really good too. I've never had pecan pie either before and I really enjoyed it. I would have liked to try the pumpkin pie, but I didn't have room for a piece of each.
A few weeks ago, Jason and I went to Johnston Canyon - I took some photos of there, there are also a couple of new photos of Jason playing with Betty on the floor of our place. The links are below.

Anyway, will head off for now, enjoy the photos. I will definitely post again soon.
